ProjectXplor is a GIS where you can literally put Assets on the map for maintenance needs and utilization in a project. It virtually visualizes maintenance and utility. In large projects, such as in railway tracks and ports, ProjectXplor is linked to existing software architectures and databases such as SAP and Maximo. In our experience, we were able to create successful links, including that of ProjectXplor and Maximo for a rail maintenance contractor. The collaboration between the two systems keep everything and everyone up-to-date and on time plotting of work orders.
